Our status
Where we are toward charter.
Institutional Trust Company is a South Dakota trust company in formation, seeking its charter. We would rather tell you exactly where that stands than imply we are further along than we are.
What this means today
We are not yet chartered and are not accepting accounts. Everything on this site is a demonstration and reference experience of the platform we are building. You can explore how accounts, custody, and the Investor Passport are designed to work — but you cannot open or fund an account until the charter is granted.
What changes at charter
On charter approval, account opening, funding, custody, and administration are designed to move from demonstration to live — with the same per-record authorization and evidence model shown throughout the site. Capabilities are labeled Demonstration, Planned, Available at charter, or Partner so you always know what is real today.
Transparency is the point
A custodian earns trust by being precise about what it can and cannot do. Telling you plainly that we are pre-charter is not a limitation to hide — it is the standard of candor you should expect from whoever will hold your assets.

Pre-charter notice: Institutional Trust Company is seeking a South Dakota non-depository trust charter; it is not yet chartered, is not accepting accounts, and nothing here is an offer to open an account. Forward-looking statements are subject to regulatory approval and may change or never occur.
